For the sixth edition of Dubai Design Week, a wide programme of hands-on workshops that catered for all ages, ranges of experience and interest was staged by independent designers, makers and small businesses from the UAE.

Participants had the opportunity to develop and enhance practical and creative design skills through making and exploring. Each activity focused on a specific topic such as crafts using local materials, traditional embroidery, linocut printing, wood pattern making, DIY activities, design thinking, robotics and more.

The programme took place over the course of five days and was dedicated to adults during the week and to families and children on the weekend.
