For its 12th edition, Dubai Design Week invites emerging and established designers, architects, collectives, creative practitioners and design-led companies, from across the region and beyond, to submit proposals for outdoor installations.

Applicants are encouraged to submit proposals that explore the role of design in shaping third spaces - places where people gather beyond the home and workplace to connect, participate and build community. Proposals should adopt a holistic approach, demonstrating how design can foster inclusive and engaging public environments.

Installations should reflect a considered use of materials and methods, prioritising sustainable and socially responsible production, with an emphasis on locally and regionally sourced resources. Experimental approaches and innovative material applications that create tangible expressions.
