This workshop explored how physical and virtual spaces become increasingly interconnected. In groups, participants used the Processing Programming Language to design interactive mixed-reality experiences.

Participants looked at how physical and virtual spaces become increasingly blurred and inter-connected. ‘Mixed-reality’ was inspiring new forms of technological research and design across many fields from architecture to sports, medicine and even fashion. In this workshop, participants worked together using the Processing programming language to design interactive mixed-reality experiences.

About Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation (DIDI)

In collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and The New School’s Parsons School of Design, Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation (DIDI) is a private, non-profit university, located at Dubai Design District (d3), accredited by the Ministry of Education in the UAE. With its first intake in 2018, DIDI is focused on nurturing, mentoring and creating the next generation of designers.
