A highlight of Dubai Design Week, the Dubai Culture Creative Lab offers a programme of live demos and drop-in activities exploring materials and design processes, each focusing on a specific discipline.

Dubai Culture Creative Lab comes to life as seven DIY stations over a five-day programme in Dubai Design District (d3), to spark imagination and develop creative skills among design enthusiast, students and budding designers of all ages. The activities are conducted by UAE-based and regional enterprises and creatives. Skills range from design thinking and building to exploring new technologies, upcycling and reviving traditional crafts, along with STEAM education.

Participants of the 2019 programme are 81 Designs, Al Ghadeer UAE Crafts, Ethan&Co, MAS Paints, OliOli, Sharabassy Built-Environment Studio and Touch of Clay.

The programme takes place daily, with a focus on families and children on the weekend.
