Spanish brand Nagami launches a pioneering project which combines computational design and largescale robotic 3D printing. The exhibition includes furniture designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, Ross Lovegrove, Daniel Widrig and Manuel Jimenez.

For Dubai Design Week 2018, Nagami presents a collection of 3D printed products at AR Gallery which explores new ways of creating furniture that push the limits of the imagination in unforeseen ways.

Founders Manuel Jimenez García, Miki Jimenez García and Ignacio Viguera Ochoa design products that have been waiting for the right technology to bring them to life. These are not only objects that you can hold, but also that you can feel and experience as part of your environment.

The brand has taken designs by Zaha Hadid Architects, Ross Lovegrove, Daniel Widrig and Manuel Jimenez and has crafted every detail from early conception, to the software that brings it them life.

About Nagami
Nagami is a design brand which explores the future of product design in a new technological era. As 3D printing technologies start to exert an ever-growing influence on the way we envision, create and design, Nagami makes use of robotic fabrication to scale up these processes, increasing accessibility to large-scale 3D printed products, while maintaining the possibilities of customisation.

The brand has participated in events and exhibitions such as Printing the World at the Centre Pompidou, with the project VoxelChair v1.0, which recently became part of the museum’s permanent collection.

The official launch took place at Milan Salone del Mobile 2018, where Nagami exhibited a new line of products developed in collaboration with Ross Lovegrove, Zaha Hadid Architects and Daniel Widrig.
