Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children Pottery Department organized a Pottery Market as well as ceramic workshops in collaboration with Yadawi Studio

Dedicated to the art of ceramics, this market invited visitors to explore creativity through hands-on pottery workshops and an engaging showcase of ceramic artistry suitable for all ages.

Organised by the Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children Pottery Department in collaboration with Yadawei Studio, this vibrant ceramic market at Dubai Design Week featured 15 participants presenting a diverse range of ceramic expressions from functional pottery to distinctive artistic creations. Among them were talented Emirati artists, each highlighting their unique craftsmanship and creative vision.

Workshops were walk-in only with no prior registration required. Spaces were limited and participants could register for only one workshop per day. If visitors wished to keep their finished piece, a fee of AED 84 applied for firing and glazing. Otherwise, the clay was recycled after the session.

Workshops on the 8th and 9th of November included Hand Building, Painting on Ceramic and Pottery on the Wheel
