This hands-on workshop explores creative coding using JavaScript. Participants should bring a laptop to type their own code alongside the instructor. By the end of the session, they will be able to use code as a paintbrush to create visuals and gain the knowledge and resources to continue exploring creative coding. The workshop is beginner-friendly and requires no prior programming experience.

About Jack B. Du

Jack is an artist and researcher. His research and art practice centers around the experimentation of code as a creative medium, producing robotic drawings, algorithmic objects, computational visuals and interactive installations. His work has been exhibited internationally and he has led coding workshops at Harvard and DigitalFUTURES. Jack is a Visiting Professor of Interactive Media at NYU Abu Dhabi and holds a BSc from NYU Shanghai while pursuing an MPS at NYU Tisc
