University of Arts London
This workshop explored how paper and light interact to create striking visual effects through folding, cutting and layering.
This workshop explored the relationship between paper and light and the creative possibilities that emerged when they intersected. Participants experimented with bulbs or LEDs to see how light illuminates, diffuses, guides or creates effects as it bends, scatters and reflects. Paper was used for folding, cutting, layering and curving to manipulate light and transform perception.
