Echoing the design language of the BMW 7 Series, the pavilion merges material refinement with the precision of luxury automotive design.

Designed by Bricklab, 'Ellipse' explores the duality of spatial experiences between the comfort of the car and the often-harsh climatic conditions of the desert highway. A hard, metallic exterior encloses a soft, sinuous interior, offering visitors a moment of intimacy and respite.

This interplay of contrast continues through the pavilion’s elliptical form, which creates a dynamic relationship with the angular geometries of its surroundings. Industrial corrugated sheet cladding is balanced by refined architectural detailing, recalling the layered precision of automobile manufacturing. Inside, subdued interiors feature a product showcase evoking the textures and patinas of the BMW 7 Series, with meticulously crafted objects by local and regional designers set within a series of undulating walls that draw visitors inward. Soft surfaces on the walls and floors enhance the sense of comfort, defining a centerpiece - a sunken living room that encourages intimate social interactions and programmed conversations.

Through the interplay of materials, atmospheres and tectonic articulation, the pavilion translates BMW’s design language into architecture, reflecting the precision, refinement and experiential richness of the luxury automobile.
