This beginner-friendly workshop explored creative coding through JavaScript to create visuals.

This hands-on workshop explored creative coding using JavaScript. Participants brought a laptop to type their own code alongside the instructor. By the end of the session, they were able to use code as a paintbrush to create visuals and gained the knowledge and resources to continue exploring creative coding. The workshop was beginner-friendly and required no prior programming experience.

Jack is an artist and researcher exploring code as a creative medium through robotic drawings, algorithmic objects, computational visuals and interactive installations. His work has been exhibited internationally and he has led coding workshops at Harvard and DigitalFUTURES. Jack holds a BSc from NYU Shanghai and a MPS at NYU Tisch.
