The last day of Downtown Design, Friday November 15, the anchor event of Dubai Design Week opens its doors for the general public to experience the latest collections from top brands and designers across the world and regionally.

In addition to the next generation of design talent, the fair hosts specially commissioned exhibitions, workshops and design talks, along with cafes and lounges by well-known designers, for a multifaceted experience of design of the highest quality.

Within Downtown Design, visitors will find Downtown Editions, a special exhibition of limited edition and bespoke design from up-and-coming designers in the region and around the world.

Madar, an exhibition of works by Middle East-based designers, gives visitors a deep understanding of what the ecosystem of design in the region looks like. Guest Curator Ghassan Salameh presents the landscape of regional design in an engaging and inspiring way, using product to illustrate his data points.

Works from women artisans and practitioners of traditional Emirati crafts will be showcased by Irthi Contemporary Crafts Council. Through new technologies and practices, Irthi is fostering the creation of new contemporary work through revival, modernization and preservation.

From immersive, hypnotic sculptures to the products that celebrate the very best in today’s design from around the world, don't miss a range of talks and workshops which take place at The Forum.
