In an era defined by physical distancing, multi-disciplinary Kuwait based Studio Meshary AlNassar collaborates with global surfaces brand Cosentino for Dubai Design Week 2020 to present ‘Pardis’.

A reimagined version of outdoor public space, 'Pardis' is a contemporary take of the ancient Persian paradise garden – to be presented at Dubai Design District (d3) from 9-14 November 2020. Constructed entirely out of an ultra-compact engineered surface called Dekton, the idyllic garden surrounded by the beauty of nature whilst exploring new materials,

Its minimalist design concept embraces the versatility in material use and will include a seating element whilst evoking a sense of calm with its water feature and a tastefully landscaped desert garden. By night, the installation will come alive with lighting, stoking a mood of intrigue and excitement.

The creativity of Studio Meshary AlNassar meets the innovation of Cosentino in this modern-day paradise - a sanctuary as much as it is a physical manifestation of our human yearning for a sense of community again. A place to be together, apart, ‘Pardis’ is an escape from the claustrophobia of enclosed spaces, bubbles within a bubble, an open space for work, a place to recharge, a place for quiet contemplation and inspiring conversations.
