Submissions are now open to students from Middle Eastern and North African universities to take part in MENA Grad Show, a physical exhibition presenting some of the most exciting academic innovations from across the region at this year’s Dubai Design Week.

Applicants will have the chance to be included in the exhibition, which is open to all disciplines and institutions, from biomedical engineering and urban design to data sciences. Applications can be done on the Global Grad Show website, providing a brief description of the solution and the problem it addresses.

Every submission will also be invited to take part in a multi-phased entrepreneurship programme, dedicated to graduates who want to take their projects to market, including startup-building training, mentorship and the opportunity to pitch for A.R.M. Holding AED 10 million Fund for selected projects.

A key feature of Dubai Design Week last year, MENA Grad Show showcased 50 social impact innovation projects as part of its inaugural edition. Having received more than 200 submissions from 36 universities, the programme spotlighted projects in the fields of technology, science and design addressing problems faced by people, communities and the planet.

MENA Grad Show is part of the Global Grad Show, the year-round programme for graduates from universities around the world working on social impact innovation projects. Since 2015, Global Grad Show has built a global community of over 300 universities, bringing together leading international institutions and universities from developing countries.

The deadline to submit applications is Tuesday 10 August 2021. For more information, click here.
