r|k studio is a material-led art and design practice exploring texture, memory, and emotion through clay, paper, and natural pigments.
Guided by a deep fascination with surface, color and transformation, the studio embraces experimentation, from cracked stoneware and coral-like formations to delicately layered prints that feel unearthed rather than made. Each piece is a tactile dialogue between control and accident, permanence and fragility.
For Dubai Design Week, r|k studio will present a collection of textured ceramic wall panels, sculptural vessels, and functional pieces. Raw yet refined, the pieces invite touch, contemplation, and a return to stillness.
WORKSHOP: Catch & Keep: A Ceramic Fish Workshop
Adults:
Participants will hand-build their own small fish-shaped dish using pre-cut clay slabs — sculpting, carving and bending them into trinket or incense holders.
Kids:
Make their own clay fun fish. Will be given couple of fish cutouts option and then they assemble, decorate, bend or curve. Include favorite fruit.
A playful session for adults and families, rooted in touch and tide.
