First established in 2011, DXB Store is a curated platform dedicated to independent makers, designers and creative practitioners based in the UAE. Built on the principles of local production, creative authorship and accessibility, it has remained a consistent space for grassroots, independently driven work.

DXB Store returns at the Art Dubai Special Edition, taking place in Madinat Jumeirah, 14 - 17 May 2026, as part of Art Dubai Projects. The upcoming edition welcomes proposals from makers, designers, collectives and creative practitioners based in the UAE. It focuses on the commissioning of small-batch, limited-edition and one-of-a-kind works: functional objects, accessories, apparel, stationery and design objects.

Situated within Cultural Commons - an open environment hosting large-scale installations, institutional presentations and gathering spaces - DXB Store forms part of Art Dubai Special Edition's broader programming.
