The Marketplace at Dubai Design Week, a weekend-long, outdoor retail experience, returns to Dubai Design District (d3) from 11 - 12 November.

This year, the Marketplace presents an even more varied experience, with 50+ brands participating for the first time. Bringing together some of the best homegrown small businesses, the market is a place of discovery for the whole family to shop, eat and connect.

At the heart of the Marketplace lie stories of heritage, culture, and craftsmanship, with over half of the brands prioritising sustainability and ethical practices. Featuring fashion from Kenya and Colombia, beachwear from Turkey and Morocco, homeware from Sri Lanka and the UAE as well as handcrafted jewellery, vegan leather bags, contemporary henna, and unique ceramic designs.

Those seeking to unleash their creative side, can engage in sustainable activations suitable for all ages; try your hand at the potter’s wheel, plant a ghaf seed, build a rocket ship or engage in some mindful colouring.

For the foodies, d3 is home to some of the most popular eateries and coffee spots, and the Marketplace offers a culinary journey around the world with 15+ mouth-watering, home grown food choices to suit every taste. From handcrafted spicy samosa and South Asian noodles, to fresh-baked pizza and West African vegan food along with speciality coffees, bubble tea, sweet waffles and locally made gelato.

Where creativity meets community: Explore, shop and support artisans at the Marketplace at Dubai Design Week, located in a pedestrian-friendly outdoor setting in the heart of Dubai Design District (d3).

Dubai Design Week is held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) and member of the Dubai Council, in strategic partnership with Dubai Design District, a member of TECOM Group PJSC, and supported by Dubai Culture.
