Dubai Design Week now welcomes applications from creatives in the region and beyond. A key component of Dubai’s cultural calendar, the festival’s 2021 edition takes place 8-13 November.

Creative studios, individuals, institutions and organisations, manufacturers and makers are invited to reach out with innovative ideas for staging their activations, multi-disciplinary collaborations, cultural exhibitions, pop-up showcases, installations or unique digital experiences. Our team can advise on the most suitable format for your participation, whether staged independently in your own space or incorporated into the festival’s curated programmes.

With a focus on creative talent in the UAE, progressive youth as well as restorative and circular design, the edition of Dubai Design Week 2021 will present a physical programme at the festival’s main hub in Dubai Design District (d3) and in locations across the city, complemented by digital activations

The festival covers design across creative disciplines including architecture, interiors, product design, service design, multimedia and graphic design.

This means working together to explore how best the creative community would be represented to maximize on the different offerings and benefits of the festival. Themes related to locality, collective work, future imagining and sharing of public space under physical and mobility restrictions are put forward in this year’s edition for designers and creatives to investigate.
