The health and safety of everyone attending Dubai Design Week is our highest priority and the following measures have been put in place for an assured and secure visit.
PRIOR TO COMING TO d3 Visitors are requested to download the Dubai Design Week app and register their preferred visiting time in order to help us monitor visitor numbers and recommend hours of lower footfall, if required.
ACCESS AND PARKING AT DUBAI DESIGN DISTRICT (d3)
To reduce contact, venue parking is free of charge and will not entail any token collection
Bus stops, taxi and Careem drop-off and pick-up points are clearly marked at Dubai Design District (d3) for visitors planning on using public transport
ARRIVING AT DUBAI DESIGN DISTRICT (d3)
To reduce contact, venue parking is free of charge and will not entail any token collection.
Dubai Design Week is a free-to-attend event which does not require onsite registration reducing potential contact amongst individuals.
Visitors can register their preferred visiting time through the Dubai Design Week app to help us monitor visitor numbers and recommend hours of lower footfall
All visitors will be screened via contactless temperature checks prior to entering indoor activations through designated entrances
If a visitor records a high temperature, the individual may be requested to wait a few minutes for the temperature to cool down, after which a follow-up temperature check will be conducted
If high temperature persists, the individual will be directed to an isolation room and the Emergency Medical Services Team (EMS) will be contacted for further action in compliance with current Dubai Health Authority procedures
DURING DUBAI DESIGN WEEK
There will be no printed collateral distributed; all information can be found on the Dubai Design Week app and Dubai Design Week staff will be onsite to answer questions at the help desk.
Wearing a face mask is mandatory at all times including inside the exhibitions and pop-ups
All social interactions need to be mindful of current social distancing protocols
Please avoid touching surfaces, screens and displays at the event. If any surface is touched, we recommend washing or sanitising your hands; dispensers will be provided across the venue
When queuing, please ensure a safe distancing as per current guidelines
SANITISATION
Sanitisation of the venue will be conducted daily
Sanitisation dispensers are strategically distributed around the venue
Restrooms (including floors, mirrors, wash basins and amenities) are cleaned and disinfected regularly
For your own safety, we will strictly adhere to all rules and regulations laid out by government authorities, including Dubai Health Authority and Dubai Municipality, and compliance is legally required in all areas.
