Explore expressive typography by experimenting with scale, composition, spacing and letterforms.

Type Has a Voice is an expressive typography workshop exploring how visual choices shape tone, emotion and meaning. Participants will experiment with scale, hierarchy, contrast, spacing, rhythm, composition and letterform manipulation across analogue and digital approaches. They will create a final framed piece that uses typography as an expressive visual language.
