A kinetic installation where rotating panels invite collective interaction, revealing shifting compositions of hidden images, colours and patterns through play.

Peek, Pivot, Play! explores how individual actions become collective expression through an interactive installation of rotating agamograph panels. Each panel contributes a fragment to a larger composition, encouraging visitors to move around the installation, explore different angles and actively shape what they see.

The graphics, designed and produced entirely in-house, are built around three central themes: childhood maps, Miami summers and play. As visitors rotate the panels, hidden images, colours and patterns emerge, transforming separate interactions into a shared creative experience.

The installation accommodates multiple users simultaneously, allowing strangers, friends and families to unknowingly collaborate as they rotate panels and reveal new compositions together. In doing so, it creates moments of conversation, discovery and shared authorship, reflecting the idea that public space is defined by the people who activate it.

Each vertical panel rotates independently around a custom-designed 3D-printed pivot hinge joint, allowing effortless movement while remaining securely positioned at any angle. An integrated friction mechanism provides durability, stability and resistance to outdoor conditions, supporting continuous public use. Rather than adding a permanent trace, the installation changes what others experience next. Through each interaction, separate actions combine to create an evolving visual record of a community in motion.
