Discover the Mandoos through contemporary design interpretations that explore the relationship between Emirati traditions, cultural symbols and design.

Mandoos Al Wulfa is an immersive installation that introduces the main symbol of the Season of Wulfa. Presented by Dubai Design Lab in partnership with the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority and Hamzat Wasl, the pavilion showcases contemporary interpretations of the Mandoos, each inspired by the traditional chest in its own way. Together, they show how culture and rituals become symbols and how those symbols inspire design that carries culture forward.
