Experience Palestinian tatreez through textile, light, sound and scent, contributing to a growing collective textile.

The Atmosphere of the Stitch explores Palestinian tatreez as a contemporary spatial experience. Through textile, light, sound, scent and the repetitive gesture of stitching, visitors are invited to slow down, gather and contribute to a collective textile. As each visitor adds a stitch, the collective textile grows, reflecting how individual gestures can create a shared sense of connection and belonging.

About Tatreez Therapy
Tatreez Therapy is a creative project founded by Eman Alkhawaja, centred on Palestinian embroidery as a form of creative expression and connection to heritage. Since 2021, Tatreez Therapy has collaborated with cultural and creative institutions including Dubai Culture, Dubai Design Week, Sharjah Art Foundation, Al Quoz Creative and Alserkal Avenue. The project combines traditional tatreez with contemporary approaches to creativity and wellbeing, creating spaces to learn, make and engage with Palestinian cultural heritage.
