'Reality Check' addresses the diminishing human connections in an increasingly virtual world.

With the virtual world becoming more intrinsic and present in modern society, Indian artist Kapil Bhimekar explores the notion of physical human connections in The Reality Check.

A large-scale inflatable installation made from recycled PVC, The Reality Check looks to confront to the shifting notion of what reality is today compared to what it may be tomorrow, and the juxtaposition of an increasing virtually connected world with a more isolated physical world.

Bhimekar invites audiences to appreciate the joy of being present; to play and revel in shared tangible experiences. As society navigates an evolving technological landscape, The Reality Check serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of real-world connections.
