Beginning with ‘grids’ as the base of each creation, this installation explores forms bound in its dimensions.

Walking through the arches the visitors experience GRIDS’ five layers in an immersive and tactile experience. This experience aims to elicit contemplation of abstract thoughts through its visuals and reflection on unfamiliar natural resources.

Each grid layer depicts the graduation and saturation of its structure. The arches explore the limitations and opportunities brought by overlooked natural materials, creating an interactive installation and unleashing the potential of radically natural material composition.

Jangra understands materiality as the way we perceive, interact with, and relate to the materials that are available to us, but are not predictable, mass produced, or products of industrial manufacturing.
