A series of seven mixed media sculptures on a substrate of polystyrene, designed to highlight the importance of sustainability in traditional artmaking and encourage recycling initiatives.

The Eggs are encased in various book papers, which were discarded by school libraries during the Pandemic, antique ephemera and other textural elements that would usually end up in the landfill. The Eggs are intended to function as objects of visual delight as well as one-of-a-kind meditative tools.

The mysticism, many legends, beliefs and good luck associated with the number seven add a sensory boost to the meditative experience and encourage the possessor of the Eggs to focus on the potential that lies within, directing their mindset to recognise creative opportunities whenever they appear.

The Eggs also exist as high-resolution digital assets for use in Metaverse or other virtual applications. The seven NFTs are not only decorative, but functional: the owner of each Egg NFT receives exclusive access to the digital files, and limited rights to use the Egg in other digital applications. Copyright remains with the artist.

This unique blend of real-world sculpture and digitisation creates a truly immersive and sensory collection for the true connoisseur of fine art to expand into the web3.0 environment.
