Visitors attended an exclusive guided design tour of the Mosque of Light with the key designers of the project during Dubai Design Week.

The Emirates Architecture Open, organised by the ThreeFlaneurs, showcased outstanding contemporary architectural projects built by local design firms in the UAE. Participants had the opportunity to attend an exclusive guided architecture tour of the Mosque of Light along with the key designers themselves. This contemporary Mosque was designed by the local architecture firm - Dabbagh Architects.

Enhancement of the act of worship was the main focus of the design of this mosque which facilitates the transition from the day-to-day state of mind to a calm and peaceful setting for worship. This is achieved with controlled use of natural light, materiality as well as form.
