SHESAYS.DUBAI launched its activities with The Gender of Words, an exhibition for Professor of Creative Advertising and SHESAYS.DUBAI Lead, Dina Faour, took a closer look at the tone of voice and the gender of Arabic words and typography used in advertising and commercial design.

The showcase also comprised of networking and mentorship activities for SHESAYS.DUBAI members.

About SHESAYS

Globally, SHESAYS is an award-winning organization running free mentorship and events for women in the creative industry. The main motive for this NGO is to see more women proceed in their careers and assume higher positions in the corporate ladder. This NGO welcomes women from all creative industries, starting with advertising and media to design and the arts.

The exhibiting designer, Dina Faour, is a full professor, a graphic designer and an ad woman who serves as the main lead for the SHESAYS Dubai chapter.
