About Agata Kurzela
Agata founded her own practice in 2020, focusing on a creative approach that combines the latest innovation with traditional craftsmanship. She draws on local heritage and her interesting materials as she pursues a unique way of design that is thoroughly contemporary yet profoundly inspired by its cultural and artistic context. A multidisciplinary perspective and the use of emerging technologies and computational design are hallmarks of Agata’s creative process. Over 15 years, she has established a proven track record of delivering challenging and complex projects for which she won numerous accolades and awards.

About Matthew Utley
Matthew Utley is a Principal at Grimshaw and leads the Middle East studio. He has spent the past 19 years working across all scales of architecture and design, leading projects in the United States, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

Both professional and personal research has focused on the role of the architect in the public realm and the methods by which design professionals can promote access to design for all segments of society.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design, as well as a Masters Degree in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University in the City of New York.

Karim's experience dates back to 1998, including work, travel, and education in Mumbai, Montreal & London.
