Pragma's Open House showcased a variety of models and drawings produced by the practice for projects of various scales and nature ranging from single family homes to urban studies and master plans.

Visitors got the chance to meet some of the designers at Pragma provided a brief introduction about the practice and the design methodology. The exhibition was open to students, peer practitioners, and the general public and was meant to promote architecture as a cultural and civic discourse.

About Pragma

Pragma is a Dubai based design firm operating within the fields of architecture, urbanism, and research. Established in 2014 by architects Ahmed Khadier and Abdulla Al Shamsi, the firm operates across a multitude of scales promoting a critical approach to design that is highly influenced by context, program, and cultural identity.

Ahmed Khadier is the Founder and Principal in Charge of Pragma. He holds a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture with Honors from the American University of Sharjah.
