Attend an exclusive guided landscape tour at the Hameni Tower with the key designers of the project.

The Emirates Architecture Open, organized by the ThreeFlaneurs, showcases outstanding contemporary architecture/landscape projects built by local design firms in the UAE. Participants will have the opportunity to attend an exclusive guided design tour of the landscape components of the Hameni Tower along with the key designers themselves. This contemporary landscape project is designed and executed by the award-winning local design firm - Kamelia Landscape Design.

The client brief to the team at Kamelia Landscape Design was to create something unique that could differentiate the Hameni Tower from the typical podium found in several tower projects in the UAE. The elements the client wanted within the landscape were, adults pool, kids pool, multifunctional event space, and bar/F&B area.

The design process actually started with a circular pool and the rest of the design flowed from there. All the landscape materials were chosen to reflect the interiors. Further, the designers used an artificial mother of pearl finish for the pool and also found unusual shower fixtures that work from the floor.

When planting they were aware of harsh winds at the podium level and hence picked species that were based on durability and aesthetics.
