As part of the recently announced hybrid programme, Downtown Design presented its first digital fair, 9-14 November 2020, during Dubai Design Week.

Continuing to support the objectives of brands and buyers in these challenging times and in consultation with its network of design professionals, this year Downtown Design presented its brand showcases digitally.

With flexible participation options, the virtual event offered brands and designers the opportunity to showcase their collections and products, connect with our network of buyers, architects, interior designers and enhance their market visibility across the region.

Underpinned by an amplified digital and social strategy, the digital fair presented exclusive brand microsites with product launches and galleries, social media campaigns and more, to help participants spotlight their latest innovations and make meaningful relationships.

Each participating brand received a dedicated microsite designed as a one-stop digital solution to present their latest collections to Downtown Design’s audience. Featuring a tailor-made brand introduction, downloadable company profile and a product gallery that presented the collections in a ‘clippings’ format with key specifications, the microsite also included hyperlinked sales contacts to help buyers connect with brands in real-time.

Supporting the digital fair, Downtown Design’s annual talks programme, The Forum, was also presented digitally and featured regional and international experts spotlighting the new value system that has evolved as a response to the pandemic.
