Created in large scale, the Tarboosh, which was once used to diffuse perfume on clothing, is now used to diffuse fragrances in homes and living spaces across the UAE. Artist Loreta Bilinskaite- Monie has designed large scale Tarabeech that can be used as scent diffusers for living spaces.

Loreta Bilinskaite-Monie worked with master craftswomen at Al Ghadeer UAE Crafts to create the pieces using traditional materials such as a designed Tarboosh, named “Tarboosh of Gazel” made from natural goat’s wool that was traditionally used for Sadu - Sadu is the traditional Emirati weaving of wool. Another Tarboosh, which is made of 100% cotton thread Sadu, is named the “Tarboosh of Sadu.” Also, Al Ghadeer will present a third Tarboosh, named “Tarboosh of Khoos,” made of wool threads and Khoos, which are hand-woven palm leaves.
