For its third participation, Rado’s exhibition continued to showcase the Swiss brand’s latest world-leading designer collections and pay tribute to the architect, artist, designer and ‘Father of Modernism’ Le Corbusier with the new Rado’s True Thinline Les CouleursTM limited edition collection. The first Rado Start Prize UAE winner was announced and a selection of Rado Star Prize-winning projects from around the world was also on display.

Another highlight of this year’s participation was the announcement of the winner of the inaugural Rado Star Prize UAE - Aya Charife, with her project Takyeef.

Showcasing the work of a range of talented young designers responding to the theme ‘Design with Timeless Appeal’, the Rado Star Prize is an institution in the world of design. Previous competitions have been held in Italy, France, UK, USA, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Austria, Canada. It’s now time for a new generation of UAE-based designers to show what they can do.
