Architectural practice SSH hosts a talk on the design processes that produce landmark buildings, and poses the question ‘Do architects still sketch?’
This session will give attendees an exclusive and entertaining insight into how exciting technological tools help architects to bring building concepts into the real world. The ability to sketch out the spark of an idea is the beginning of the process of architecture, helping dreams to materialise. Sketches then become models made from paper or foam, or are 3D printed. These 3D models are then scripted mathematically into complex shapes through coding. This is an exclusive opportunity to see SSH’s Director of Architecture, David Daniels, and other architectural experts present the practice’s insight on these remarkable topics.
