Rouse will present a workshop to highlight the importance of intellectual property rights to the different design professionals and to raise awareness of the various issues which impact on the success or failure of those involved in the design field.

Small businesses that rely on the creative output of their founders/employees face unique challenges to identify and protect their valuable assets from loss or copying. Rouse will present a series of three workshops to discuss intellectual asset management and intellectual property protection relevant to D3’s clients, creative professionals and stakeholders. The workshops will cover practical examples to highlight the importance of understanding how intellectual property rights arise and the practical consequences of failure to identify and protect these rights.

Each workshop will build on the previous workshop and take attendees through a combination of theory and practical examples. The focus of the workshops is to highlight the importance of intellectual property rights to the different design professionals and to raise awareness of the various issues which impact on the success or failure of those involved in the design field.

The workshops will be free of charge. To book, please email [email protected] and please indicate number of attendees as well as whether you are attending First, Second or Third workshop.
