New design economies such as the Middle East, Africa and South Asia present an uncharted territory for design to contribute towards building communities and sustaining the ambitions of its people.
The unique character of each region and the expectations of its people requires architects and designers to find innovative means of exploring not only their understanding of these markets, but also their approach to design – creatively, culturally and commercially.
