The Audi Innovation Talks is a daily programme of conversations with experts exploring the future potential of technology and innovation.

Manuel Jimenez Garcia, a registered architect in UK and in Spain, with a background in computer programming and digital design, develops computational methods to rethink design and manufacturing in a new technological era.

Garcia is a co-founder and principal of madMdesign, a computational design practice based in London, and the co-founder of Nagami, a robotic manufacturing startup based in Spain. His work has been exhibited worldwide in venues such as Centre Pompidou (Paris), Victoria & Albert Museum and Royal Academy of Arts (London). Alongside his practice, Manuel is a lecturer at The Bartlett School of Architecture UCL (London). He is programme director of Architectural Computation, and co-founder of Design Computation Lab. He also runs Research Cluster 4 at the MArch Architectural Design and curates Plexus, a multidisciplinary lecture series based on computational design.
