About United Nude
Rem D Koolhaas, nephew and namesake of architect Rem Koolhaas of OMA, will go down in shoemaking history for creating United Nude, the company behind some of today’s most forward-thinking footwear designs. These designs display clear conception, innovation and design, at the intersection of fashion and architecture.

Koolhaas established United Nude in 2003, with Galahad Clark, a seventh generation shoemaker, launching with its inaugural Möbius shoe. Each pair of United Nude shoes is a reinterpretation of an architectural object or represents an exploration of the possibilities offered by movement, colours and materials. The brand is guided in equal parts by pushing the boundaries of footwear design, and collaborating on limited-edition releases with high-profile creatives from Iris Van Herpen to Zaha Hadid and Issey Miyake.

Named winner of a 2016 Wallpaper* Design Award, United Nude is positioned as a world leader in architectural footwear and accessories. The brand’s shoes are sold in over 50 countries worldwide, with concept stores in Amsterdam, London, Vienna, Tokyo, Taipei and Beijing.
