About Dubai Design Week

Established in 2015 in partnership with Dubai Design District (d3), Dubai Design Week is held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-Chairman of the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, a strategic partner of the event, and is also supported by Meraas and Audi.

Owned and managed by Art Dubai Fair FZ LLC (The Art Dubai Group), a joint venture company between the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and Middle East Fairs Ltd, Dubai Design Week was conceived to shine a spotlight on Dubai as the region’s leading design city, and to provide a platform for the UAE’s thriving design community.

In Dubai’s collaborative spirit, and as a reflection of the city’s global outlook, Dubai Design Week is both regional and international in scope and ambition, encompassing public and private sectors, culture, education and entertainment, and spans multiple disciplines, ranging from graphic and product design to architecture and industrial design. Through panels, keynote speeches, presentations and the exchange of ideas and approaches with designers across the world, Dubai Design Week aims to contribute to the discussion, understanding and potential of design for the region and the world.

From 2018, Design Days Dubai will be moved from March and held during Dubai Design Week under a new format. The dates will be announced in January 2018.
