Participants were introduced to the art of Islamic geometric patterns through delving into the process of their creation.

This workshop was a practical introduction to Islamic geometric patterns. Inspired by Islamic patterns in mosques, participants learnt how to construct geometric patterns and gained an understanding of the historical and symbolic significance of geometry in art. Using this knowledge, participants made their own patterns and printed it on fabric using different methods, as silkscreen printing, stamping, stencils and more.
